Terms of Service
Using LinkMeThat
LinkMeThat provides encrypted, ephemeral content sharing. By using this service you agree to these terms. You must be 13 or older to use this service.
Acceptable use
Use LinkMeThat for legitimate privacy needs — sharing passwords, credentials, sensitive documents, private notes, and similar content you want to deliver securely without it persisting in email or chat logs.
You may not use LinkMeThat to share:
- Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the recipient's
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — prohibited absolutely, no exceptions
- Content intended to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Malware, exploits, or content designed to damage systems
- Content that violates another person's intellectual property rights
Zero-knowledge design
We encrypt content in your browser and have no access to the decryption key. This means we cannot monitor, moderate, or review content shared through the service. You are solely responsible for what you share. The zero-knowledge architecture is a privacy feature, not a license for illegal use.
No warranty
LinkMeThat is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about availability, uptime, or data retention beyond what is described in the product. Encrypted content is subject to Cloudflare's infrastructure reliability. Do not use LinkMeThat as your only copy of critical information.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkMeThat and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of access to shared content, or any consequence of a link expiring or being opened.
DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. Because content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot review or remove specific content. If you have a DMCA concern, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to valid legal notices as required.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted with an updated date above.
